K.Aravinth of St.Sylvester's College Gymnastics Club represented Kandy District at Sri Lanka Junior National Gymnastics Chapionship & won two Places in Floor Excercise & Vault. He practices under Mr.Amal Rasanga. Madushani Attapattu of Shakthi Gymnastics Club was placed sixth in Vault. She practices under Mr.Chinthaka Weerarathne.

2009.04.10:

Central Province Gymnastics Championship 2008 held at Mahamaya Girls College Kandy on 9th april 2009. St.Sylvester's College Gymnastics Club crowned as Central Province Boy's champions at Central Province Gymnastics Championship 2008 & Mahamaya Gymnastics Club came to won the Girls Championship. This Championship organized by the CPGASL.
