Principal’s Message
I wish the dawned year 2011 a very prosperous one. We have strode on to year 2011 with exhilaration of commemorating the 70th Anniversary of our College with great pride. A school is an institute which is comprised of live and active gathering of persons. It is our responsibility to pave the way and give our assistance to the heirs of the future generation to those who come here along with the leadership in that endeavor.
It is the very reason that the teachers who cherished the yester years were worshipped in the frame of deities as they were dedicated and honest in their tasks. Not with standing selfishness, the real teacher work so as to enlighten the tomorrow of the student who comes in search of the assistance of the teacher on the event of making the student's tomorrow a better one.
We know you, the present members of such s teaching community, are also capable of dedicating your time as the teachers of yester years have done. We kindly request you to give your fullest service for the sake of our children.
There are a lot of challenges that we should win during the period which commences from 2011 to 2015, in which the 75th Anniversary of our College is to be commemorated.
1.Qualitative and Quantitative improvement of the Examination results of the School.
2.Increasing the percentage of students those who enter the University.
3.Moulding the overall development of the students so as to make them a real Sylvestrian gentleman.
4.Achieving outstanding victories in the held of sports and other co-curricular activities.
5.Making a School Community enriched with qualities and better thoughts.
There are some achievements to be registered in cementing the above furnished Objectives.
1.Increasing the percentage of GCE (O/L) up to 95%
2.Increasing the percentage of GCE (A/L) to25% from the percentage.
3.Establishing class room situations enriched with better quality.
4.Having a student community who are totally abided by the school laws and regulations.
5.Constituting the working culture which is characterized by the productive use of time further.
